"The nose has peat smoke, bonfire ash, tarred rope, and cigar smoke. There's cinnamon, cardamom, cured meat and candle wax. Some fermenting wash and dried leaves, too. The palate has rich sherry sweetness, balsamic vinegar, caramel, strawberries, lemon tart and chocolate biscuits. Midpalate is fruity, with malt, lapsang tea, allspice, black pepper, iodine, and citrus. Medium to long finish, with cedarwood, and a lot of tannins."
