"The whisky has a slightly perfumed nose with a touch of peat. The palate reveals even more peat alongside a very dry cask influence, where the oak nearly dominates. Warm notes of spices develop, whilst the malt plays a secondary role. Despite some biting alcohol, notes of tropical fruit, peat smoke, earthy notes, citrus peel, and floral hints create a complex and powerful experience."
