TASTING NOTE:
"Fresh nose with a spring orchard mood. Fresh apples, pears with some syrupy sweetness in the background. Reminds of sweet rich apple juice, some apple pie notes of cinnamon, clove, gingerbread biscuits, some leather notes. Taking a sip reveals some peat. A nice toastiness, no harsh extremes. The whisky is silky on the palate, yet bone dry, almost no sweetness on the palate, some notes of dried apricot, peach. A hint of saltiness in the aftertaste. Would say it's a long finish as the whisky lingers in the mouth 10 minutes after consuming it. Overall one would expect more complexity from a whisky this old.
