"The nose is slightly rubbery but rich and resinous. There are currants, roasted nuts, milky coffee, spices, fruits, and struck match. A lot of wine characteristics here: cranberries, figs and raisins, with a lot of tannic spice and woodiness. Perfect for winter. There's wonderful balance between the sweet fruitiness and the wood."
