Global winners, Icons of Whisky, and Hall of Fame announced!—World Whiskies Awards 2025

The World Whiskies Awards is excited to announce that the Global winners of the World Whiskies Awards 2025 and the Icons of Whisky 2025, have been revealed
On Wednesday, 26 March, the global winners of the World Whiskies Awards 2025 were unveiled. This years’ awards took place at the world-renowned The Waldorf Hotel in London.
Our global Icons of Whisky winners this year include Holyrood Distillery for Distiller of the Year, Fettercairn Highland Single Malt Whisky for Campaign Innovator of the Year, and The Heart Cut for Independent Bottler of the Year. The awards also saw our newest inductees to the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame, Anssi Pyysing from Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery, and whisky writer and spirits expert, Dave Broom.
Sponsors of the World Whiskies Awards 2025 and Icons of Whisky include: Amorim Top Series, Brindiamo, Glencairn, Hellman, IPL Packaging, Kavalan, McLaren Packaging, Rankin, and Whisky Tour of the World.
The event featured talks from awards hosts and sponsors, a drinks reception, live entertainment, and a full three-course meal in the hotel’s stunning Adelphi Suite.
